Streetlight Records: New and Used CD's and Rare Vinyl Records

Description

For those of you who don't know, Streetlight Records is a quasi-religious cult, complete world view, and refuge for morally handicapped artists and musicians. Our leader, Uncle Bob, lives in a remote part of Big Sur seeking religious visions and dirty jokes. He only comes out of seclusion to pass on newly found pearls of wisdom, dirty limericks, and to attend computer flea markets. We operate 4 retail stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. "What are our 'real world' address," the hapless net surfer may ask? I'll tell you.

We buy and trade (and we particularly want to buy your) CDs, LPs, 45s, cassettes, DVDs, video cassettes, and video disks.. We believe we pay the best prices around and buy the widest variety, but such a statement is too self promotional and commercial for the Internet. If you live near enough and your collection's big enough we'll even make house calls to evaluate your collection.

Our philosophy , if you could call it that, is that all music's cool, or is so uncool that its cool again, or soon will be. We love it all. We embrace music from other cultures, other eras, other mentalities, and other worlds. We love roots music, classical, blues, jazz, good pop, bad pop, hip hop, soul, r & b, rap, experimental, and college radio music. About the only things we're not sure about are this week's big mega-hits (but we'll sell 'em to ya). We've never been narrow in our focus, and tend to draw people that are passionate about music and have far reaching tastes. It's not unusual for one of our customers to buy CD's and vinyl with classical, jazz, rock, and Tom Jones represented. We love to break down boundaries and make references to music lyrics.
