Storbeck's began as a mail order company in 1990 carrying genealogy software and a few books about technical aspects of genealogy -- photography, audio and video taping, and computers.
My, how things have changed. We no longer sell software as it is so easily available. And now we carry a many more titles than the five or six we started out with in 1990. When we take our books and maps to a conference, we generally take over six hundred book titles (this is the van's capacity) and we stock hundreds more than that. We carry books from all the major genealogical publishers, many university presses, self-publishers and quite a few general publishers.
