Located in the historic city of Padova, thirty miles west of Venice, ARD remains the leader in the Rennaisance of the authentic Italian, hand-trowled plaster aesthetic.
plasters are a smooth natural mineral wall plaster composed of crushed marble fillings and modified lime putty, processed from the Mediterranean limestone quarries surrounding Venice, Italy. The Lime putty is created by the hydration of aged slaked lime. The modern day formula remains aqueous in 5 gallon pails, suitable for the marmoreal Marmorino (marble-like) protective hand troweled finish for interior and exterior walls. In the exterior environment, ARDLIME veneer plasters naturally weather to the elements recreating the characteristic beauty of architectural facades throughout Europe.
