About Our School
There are currently four classes within the school, a reception class and three further classes for Year 1/2, Year 3/4, and Year 5/6. We have an experienced and committed teaching staff, complemented in September 2005 by the appointment of a newly qualified teacher in KS1. Teaching staff are assisted by our skilled and experienced teaching assistants. The whole team is ably supported by our highly proficient administrative assistant. We also have an on site catering team and superintendent. There are 92 pupils on roll.
Our school is a few minutes walk from the centre of Boston Spa. The main building was purpose-built in the 1970s with main teaching rooms arranged around a central resources area. We are particularly proud of our school grounds which are extensive and well used for sport, recreation and teaching opportunities. These grounds have recently been enhanced with the installation of play equipment funded by the “Aiming High” project.
Within the school grounds are two grass football pitches, a garden, conservation and pond areas, a playhouse and an outdoor classroom.
