About GHOSTS
GHOSTS was officially organized in 1998 by Joseph Immethun, after he experienced a couple unexplainable events. In 1997, out of curiosity, Joe was researching an 1890's murder case of a family in Illinois. He decided to make the journey to the location of the event. While there, he experienced his first "ghost".
" I was nearing the end of the driveway, and a man stepped around the corner of the house and was walking down the drive towards my car. He was dressed in an old, black, Amish-type suit with a brimmed hat looking very peculiar. I stopped the car and unglued my eyes from the rearview mirror to turn around and look out the back window, only there was nothing to see! The man had disappeared! I again looked in the mirror just where I saw him two seconds earlier, but he was gone. Needless to say I was spooked and left.
From that point on I read every book, talked to everyone I could, and researched every bit of information I could find. I was officially hooked. I was on the hunt. I was a ghost hunter."
