Description

Stilwell Software Products was formed in 1980 by Steve Stilwell. Mr. Stilwell worked at the Maricopa County (Phoenix, Arizona) Juvenile Court for eleven years designing and writing enhancements to the juvenile court system. He left Maricopa to obtain his law degree and to work as a private consultant to various courts. In addition to his work in Arizona, he has worked with courts in Michigan, Ohio and Georgia. He has done extensive work for the National Center for Juvenile Justice and the National Center on Crime and Delinquency.

Mr. Stilwell has been writing applications for the personal computer for the past 19 years. Most of his work has been in developing applications for juvenile courts. Mr. Stilwell has also written a word processor, spreadsheet program and a database program that has been published with a textbook to teach college students how to use PCs.

Mr. Stilwell is married to Madeleine Stilwell who is the director of operations at the Phoenix Big Brothers/Big Sisters agency. After years of being able to dodge the request to develop an application for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Mr. Stilwell finally succumbed to the pressures and developed MATS (Mentoring Automated Tracking System).
