- Star Wars was a big influence in my life. I started reading comic books at the fairly late age of 10, upon being introduced to Marvel Comics Star Wars issue 47 in the early-1980s. It was not the most recent issue, in fact, Star Wars was probably up to about issue 80 by then, but this issue ignited an interest in the comic book medium.
