Title

SQL-Tutorials.net - Your SQL Tutorial Headquarters.

Description

I started SQL-Tutorials.net in 2005 as a resource to help people find tips and tutorials focusing on SQL. There are many sites out there dedicated to specific database systems and programming using a specific language with a database, but not too many focusing purely on the SQL language. My intent is to offer tutorials that can be used on as many RDBMS as possible. There is a lot that can be done is SQL to take the burden off of the particular programming language, and I hope to spread that as much as I can.

Realistically speaking, I cannot guarantee the compatability of my tutorials in every database system. My primary database system is Microsoft SQL Server, so the majority of my ideas for tips and tutorials come from my experiences in that. I also use MySQL and Microsoft Access quite frequently, so my tutorials will typically be guaranteed to work in all three of those systems. I am currently a one-man show running this site, and as a result, I do not have access to all of the various db systems out there, but I make every effort to ensure that the tutorials are ANSI compliant and therefore are very likely to work in other db systems.

If you have a request for a specific tutorial or are interested in contributing to the site in any way, please contact us.
