Description
The main goal of our Association is to educate the members, hold an annual seminar and print show, and to be the official voice for our members;
I was thinking back to when I first joined this organization in 1982. How scared I was of all those older members. They had so much experience and talent. It seemed to me that they only talked to the other people that have been around for ages. I though how can I become part of those circles? Then one night at a hospitality room I met Nick Coroluick, the president at the time. He talked me into running for a board position. I did not run for any position for a few years but the words of encouragement he gave me stayed with me for my whole career. Those words were “ You have a lot to offer the association and just get involved, we need good people to make our profession grow. “ My point : I encourage each and every one of you to become involved and you will meet new and wonderful people that will help you on your photographic journey. I challenge each and every one of you to give me a call to just chat about your possibilities.
