Join us in our nation's capital for three action packed days dedicated to learning, remembering, and advocating for suicide prevention. SPAN USA's 11th National Awareness Event, Suicide Prevention: Right Here, Right Now, will take place September 7-9, 2006 offering all those interested an excellent opportunity to help advance suicide prevention.
SPAN USA accomplishes its mission through SPAN USA Affiliates and volunteer organizers of all ages who work to promote and advance suicide prevention. Community Organizers work to raise awareness about suicide in their communities and communicate with their local, state and federal policy makers to advocate for suicide prevention. Quilt Organizers help send the message that suicide is about individuals and families, not statistics, by creating Lifekeeper Memory Quilts in collaboration with our partner, the Lifekeeper Foundation.
