Description
Sonido Inc. is a software company developing affordable learning, diagnostic, and therapy solutions for Speech and Hearing Professionals. Our products cover the SLP spectrum from the college classroom to the professional office. Our goal is to deliver reliable technology solutions for human communication disorders.
The main thrust of the company has been the development of medical electronics primarily in the area of auditory neuroelectrophysiology. Starting in 1998 however, we shifted our focus to PC based solutions and began developing software that incorporates our previous technology. Patents granted by the United States Patent Office cover apparatus and procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of the many speech and hearing related learning disorders such as central auditory processing dysfunction (CAPD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), dyslexia, autism, and others.
Our professional staff members are actively involved in the field of speech/language pathology and hold certification and/or licenses in Georgia, North Carolina, and ASHA. Our research director is Leslie W. Dalton, Jr. Ph.D., CCC-A/SLP; Our public school specialist is Janice E. Kolosseus, RN, MA; Our software engineer is Brian French.
