SoftwareOnline was founded in 1989 as a producer of operating system utilities for the Amiga series of personal computers. In 1993 the company transitioned to producing utilities for the Windows operating system. Since then, we have produced several award-winning, best of class applications such as ClipTrakker, VisualZip (later acquired by Microsoft for inclusion in the operating system), MemTurbo, NetTurbo, ArmorIE, Registry Cleaner, and InternetShield.
SoftwareOnline.com's engineers have been awarded six patents for their innovating work in software engineering for the Windows platform, with several more pending.
