Smith Used Cars is located in McLeansboro, IL. The year 2003 celebrated our 32nd year in business. Smith Used Cars was founded in 1972 by William Edward Smith Junior and wife Lois. In 1986 Junior's youngest son Jim Smith and wife Shari purchased the business.
The current business location is on Hwy 142, about one mile northwest of McLeansboro. The business has been at this location since 1984 when a new dealership was built. Since that time the dealership has grown from 1800 square feet to 6540 square feet to better accommodate the business's growth. Smith Used Cars became computerized in the middle 1990's and introduced Smith Used Cars Online in April 1999.
Smith Used Cars sells all makes and models of pre-owned vehicles but specializes in current model to three year old cars, trucks, and sport utility vehicles. The dealership tries to provide customers with a friendly business environment and rewards each customer with a full tank of gas upon delivery of their new vehicle. This business strives on the amount of return customers. Return customers have helped Smith Used Cars earn a reputation as a great dealership.
