The Sri Lanka Society of Physiotherapy was established in with members and registered under the Companies act No. 17 of 1982. As the professional body society became a full member of world confederation of Physical Therapy.
Main objectives of the society include, promotion of physiotherapy in the country as well as enhancement of the knowledge and skills of the practicing physiotherapist.
