Description
Sistah Blue is a band of female musicians that plays blues and classic R&B music. The band is from Phoenix Arizona and began in 1995.
In the early - mid '90's Bob Corritore gathered together some of the top local female blues musicians for a jam session at the Rhythm Room called the "All Women Super Blues Jam". As one person in the audience put it "there was some magic happenin' up there!" In 1995 the then future "Sistahs" decided to transform the jam sessions officially into a band.
Since the band's inception, they have packed houses wherever they have played and have over the years cultivated a large, local following. Sistah Blue has performed at numerous blues festivals and has toured throughout Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Tennessee, California and Mexico.
