Sisson Kayaks is a genuine one-man-band 'hobby' business. The sole production employee is myself, Grahame Sisson. My wife Lynda helps me with the financial stuff (Tax, Tax and more Tax) in the office, Otherwise, I do all of the stock control, invoicing and manufacturing. I look apon this business as a fun retirement vocation. After 30 years, there is still a lot of personal satisfaction to be had from making a nice kayak from start to finish.
If ever the kayak making fun and satisfaction stops, the business will be either sold or closed. By choice I choose to find customers who are pleasant to deal with. All others can go elsewhere.
All kayaks are custom built to firm order. No boats are ever built for stock. We usually have quite long waiting lists. To check the current waiting time from the time of order to delivery, Click here
