Description
Spilsby is a small Market Town on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, it is one of the few remaining Market Towns that can boast that it still has a, Butcher & Baker, but the Candlestick Maker has long since dissapered.
Spilsby is the birthplace of the artic explorer Sir John Franklin who among other things discovered the North-West Passage, an imposing bronze statue of him stands at the top of the town.
The town can make an ideal location for a day or even half-day out, with its many specialist shops & tearooms & places of interest.
