Description
Silverfin Guide Service is a family owned and operated business. Gary and Lynne have been married since 1973, and raised two children, Joel and Rose. Gary’s wife Lynne, holds down the home front, answering client's questions and helping them schedule fishing time with Gary.
She also cleans the fishing gear after a day’s end, and processes the salmon eggs into bait, from the females kept that day. Sometimes, she goes out fishing with Gary, to assist him with his guests.
Rose , has been assisting Gary since the summer of 2000. Gary feels very fortunate to have his daughter helping him, and to be able to spend a lot of time together. Rose’s favorite part of assisting is the opportunity to get to know people from all over the country, and some from outside the U.S.. When time permits, Rose will try her hand at fishing, and will often hook fish, when others aren’t. She is a big help to the operation. She spends her school year away from Alaska, at college.
