- Mr. Derrick Salter, a Chicago resident, was born in Mississippi, just south of Memphis, Tennessee. He grew up being the eldest of four brothers wanting to prusue a career in the music industry as a Hip Hop artist. He later decided to follow his dream, as a young man, by moving to the State of Illinois for better opportunity. In 1995, Mr. Salter moved forward and made the City of Chicago his new home. By having success in marketing and promoting his own music, he would later take his skills to form Mo' Pay Entertainment.
