Ship’s Hatch began in 1973 with the refinishing and sale of authentic WW II Liberty Ship hatch covers. The hatch covers were transformed into tables, bars, desks, etc. That was many, many years ago. Now Ship’s Hatch is much different. Though the ownership has not changed, the merchandise has changed dramatically over the years. Ship’s Hatch is owned and operated by Mary Beth Cox with a great deal of help from a very competent staff.
