A fervent capitalist and “Adam Smith economist” who believes that a free market economy with as little government intervention as possible is the best human-devised tool for society-wide prosperity. Free markets have and will continue to solve the problems created by humankind’s inherent flaws.
On social issues, Chet tends to lean conservative, but likes to default to the small-government policy of our Founding Fathers that dictates self-reliance, self-responsibility, and one’s own pursuit of happiness. Morality is absolute. American Values are constant and vital. So long as action does not hurt another or infringe on another’s rights, government should not intervene.
