Structure
The Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ is comprised of more than 60 established congregations, and five new church starts, located in five states. These congregations are concentrated in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, with two congregations in South Carolina and one in Mississippi.
The Board of Directors meets quarterly. In addition to its officers, it is comprised of Commission chairpersons, Association representatives, and several at-large members. It oversees the work of the Conference, including finances, personnel, and programs. Advisory Boards assist with youth and other programming.
The Annual Meeting of the Conference, hosted each year by one of the Associations, is held the third weekend in June. It is time of celebration, with workshops and displays to enrich our faith, a business meeting to keep us informed, and worship and music to keep us connected to one another and our faith.
