It is no secret that the economy is not spectacular right now. One of my businesses,“The Uncommon Room”, had done a tremendous amount of model home design, in the past, for developers. The model home market has changed drastically. The housing market “adjusted” so builders and banks stopped focusing on furnished models. I made the difficult decision to move away from the interior design business model and focus on value priced quality furniture.
