Don and Naida Hedgepeth recently hosted Tomo Ishizuka and his new bride on their Honeymoon in Coos Bay. Tomo lived with the Hedgepeths while studying Drama at SWOCC here. While completing his studies at Southern Oregon University Tomo translated the Simpson Reef brochure for us. The Friends of Shore Acres has recently paid for a large reprinting of that translation as well as those into German, French and Spanish.
SEA is incorporated in Oregon and has been acknowleged by the IRS to be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3). This is important if you wish to make a gift to support SEA's work and would like to have a tax break for it. Your Tax Consultant will want to know SEA's EIN: 93-1042801
SEA was founded in Bandon Oregon in 1990. SEA has always been an all volunteer organization supported by membership dues, donations received while helping people learn about the shoreline and gifts
