Welcome to our store! My name is Keleigh (pronounced 'Kelly' - mom was a bit eccentric!) and I love everything about scrapbooking. I have been a scrapper for several years now but have not been as active as I would like lately as most of my time is spent on the store. I am a graphic designer by trade and have been in the industry for over 20 years. I am married to a wonderful husband, Chris (aka Stockboy), and we have two dogs, three cats, and a couple of fish aquariums. To answer the number one question we get, yes, Max is a real dog! He is a lab-mix that we rescued from a local shelter. For those wanting more information on him, or his sister Katy, please see his bio page. ScrappyMax actually began life as a pet-supply store launched on eBay in early 2004 under the name MaxShack. We soon realized there was over saturation in the marketplace for this and needed to make a switch. We did some research on the internet and discovered that one of my passions (scrapbooking!) could actually become a viable business. After completing the necessary legal requirements and fun paperwork, we contacted a punch manufacturer, Armada, and opened a merchant account with them. We still wanted to keep Max a part of the store, he is awfully cute after all, so we dropped the MaxShack name and officially launched ScrappyMax in late 2004 starting with a single product, the Breast Cancer Awareness Punch we still currently sell. From there, thanks to our wonderful customers, we grew, and grew, and then grew some more! Today, we have over 3000+ products on our site and continue to add new things constantly.
