Fragrance has always been a passion of mine. From the time I was a little girl, I can remember spending many hours playing at my mother's dresser (when she wasn't looking, of course), admiring, holding, and smelling all the beautiful bottles with their wonderful, sometimes exotic names. I've spent 20 years in the beauty business as a hairdresser, make-up artist, and teacher, and over the course of those years, I've spent countless hours researching and learning about the art and science of fragrance. Perfume is so much more than just a lovely smell. Kipling wrote "Scents are surer than sounds or sights to make your heartstrings crack". Without a doubt, fragrance has the power to stir our memories, influence our feelings, and move the emotions like no other stimulus.
