- The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is a Christian-based organization. Although we don't force or impose religious beliefs on anyone, we welcome the opportunity to minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of everyone who enters our doors. To that end, we offer evening chapel services at both the Texas Street and McNeil Street sites for anyone who wishes to attend.
