The Place is the "Quiet Resorts," an enclave of charming beach towns nestled on Delaware's coastline. The child was Sandy Greene who has been fortunate enough to call Bethany Beach "home" since 1970.
Sandy's love of the "Quiet Resorts" - consisting of Bethany Beach, South Bethany and Fenwick Island - started when her mom and dad purchased a vacation home by the coast. The attraction to the area was overwhelming, and her family made Bethany Beach their permanent residence when Sandy was only 12 years old. What a thrill for a young girl.
