With the now ever increasing popularity of the Sandman vehicles and with the release of the VU prototype Sandman from the General, the hype over these 70's cars has magnified, and an enthusiasts car club was born. A club to help preserve the 20+ year old vehicles, to share and enjoy the culture which surrounds them and to bring these beasts into the 21st Century.
The club caters for all HQ, HJ, HX and HZ Sandman vans and utes, it doesn't matter what stage yours is at, whether it's a daily driver, under restoration or a show pony. Provision is also made for those keen enthusiasts who do not own a Sandman, but have a Holden of the era. We are from all over Australia and share one common interest, and that is the "Sandman".
Sandman Owners Club is socially orientated with an emphasis on having fun. We participate in many activities, including car shows such as the all Holden Day, Van Nationals, Holden and Ford show - both participating and spectating. Cruises to various destinations, and other club gatherings. We can also offer you technical advice on restoring and purchasing the right products for your vehicle.
