This site has been created by the Food Standards Agency to support its salt campaign. The aim of the campaign is to reduce the amount of salt eaten by people in the UK.
These are the FSA’s salt-related publications. You can download them here as a PDF or order hard copies using the ordering information at the bottom of the page.
The Salt-o-meter is a handy portable guide to help you understand what food labels tell you about salt. It’s the size of a credit card and comes with a built-in magnifier.
