Sally Hemming
ally Hemming is a British artist who originally trained in fashion design and worked in the London fashion industry for many years. She now works professionally as an artist based in the East Sussex village of Ticehurst, where she lives.
'My work is about memories and emotions, nature and landscape. I try to recreate in my studio not only what I saw but also how I felt.'
Sally works in a variety of media including pastel, egg tempera, oil and printmaking. She has exhibited regularly in England, and her work is held in corporate and private collections in the UK, West Indies and USA.
