In 1954 the breeders in Norway, Finland and Denmark decided to form common sales and marketing platforms. The sales channels resulted in the establishment of the Nordic auction houses in Finland, Norway and Denmark. In 1960 the Swedish breeders and their auction house, Nordic Fur Auctions, joined the SAGA cooperation. Today all SAGA labelled mink, fox and finnraccoon skins are sold exclusively at Finnish Fur Sales in cooperation with Oslo Fur Auctions.
SAGA FURS® mink, fox and finnraccoon are bred on farms where the ethical treatment of animals has always been an important part of the approach to farming. This high standard of care has resulted in the finest quality mink, fox and finnraccoon skins in the world, which are sold at the auction house in Helsinki.
