This website is the brain-child of its makers who wish to provide free and accurate knowledge about the subjects of chemistry. We also aim at creating interest about the subject of chemistry in the minds of youth.
The only aim of our website is to provide easy, accurate, precise and free information about various topics in the world of CHEMISTRY. We have prepared detailed notes of many modern concepts in chemistry.
Our site is an open source website,where all of you (The Visitors of s2chem.com) can post their views, reviews and articles about chemistry. Also original videos, photographs captured by you, and posters, presentations based on any topics in chemistry are welcomed by us. You can mail these materials to us at iamawriter@s2chem.com . The articles selected by our editing team will be posted on the website along with the credentials of the author.
We have also maintained a list of various scientists and their contributions to the field of Chemistry. Also the major experiments of these scientists and a detailed record of their biographies can be found on S2CHEM.COM.
Also information related to various entrance exams such as IIT-JAM, entrance for Tata Institute of Fundamental Research(TIFR), Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and various other major Indian institutes. This would help the young aspiring candidates to prepare well for these exams and hopefully clear them as well.

Over the years the greatest of scientists from all over the world have formulated various theories about the events in nature .To prove these theories they have performed thousands of experiments, the results of which have changed the way we see the world.
Branches Of Chemistry:
The science of chemistry or alchemy as known to our early ancestors started from a mere desire to produce precious metals such as Gold and Silver and also the desire to find a substance which they called “Elixir of Youth” which would keep a person forever young. But as time passed people realized that there is more important things that can be done with help of alchemy than just reproducing gold n silver.
Scientist realized that alchemy or chemistry is a very diverse field which needs thorough intense & systematic study.
