The appeal came with the launch of the DIY site s-wine which its creators hope will act as a consumer guide to wines that are enjoyed around the world every day.The new forum will allow Blue Nun and the finest Burgundies to share breathing space and there will also be room for critical reports on wines that leave a bad taste in the mouth. The s-wine site has been set up to answer the question many people face when they walk into an off licence or supermarket after work: what wine am I going to drink at dinner tonight? The choice is often bewildering and is certainly proliferating, with new wines coming at the consumer from all corners of the globe.
