- From one runner to another, I want to thank you for your interest in Runner's Studio. In 2006, I was doing the same thing you are doing right now - looking for a software program to track my training runs. In my search, I stumbled on a few good web sites that offered some features I was interested in. However, I was looking for an application which ran on my computer - and not over the web. Why? That answer may not be obvious but it's an easy one. Running is something that pays off over time. It's a commitment. I wanted to use a program I knew would be around in 5 years. The last thing I wanted to do was to put all my running information into a web site for a few years and all of a sudden the site just ... well.. go away.
