Description
RUEN was established in 1952. In those years there was a great need for automotive components for growing Yugoslav’s vehicle producers: "Zavodi Crvena Zastava", "FAP-Famos","TAM-Maribor", "IMT" etc. They all depended on our quality in manufacturing as well as the reliability of our service. RUEN basically started with clutch and gears program. At the beginning RUEN started as a small manufacturer, but the growing Yugoslav market demanded large quantity and increased quality. We began to cooperate with the leading producers in this field, invested in the cutting edge technology. Now we have our own research and development laboratory with a design department enabling us to provide our customers with clutches and gears for the newest types of vehicles. We started with coil spring type clutch; currently most of our passenger car program is covered by pull-type diaphragm springs.
RUEN I.T. is comprised of 3 factories under the same management, development and finance departments. These factories are organized for producing the following:
Factory for producing clutches has a capacity for producing over than 500 000 completes per year. We have our own design department and institute that make us able to provide our customers with clutches for the newest types of vehicles. Most of our passenger car program is covered with pull - type diaphragm springs clutch.
