Every home built by Royce Builders not only meets, but exceeds the national and state ENERGY STAR standards; which are independently verified by a third party, Energy Sense. ENERGY STAR rated homes must be at least 15% more energy efficient than the state code requires.
We implement three steps when assuring our homes are ENERGY STAR efficient:
Energy Sense inspectors are given a set of plans before the home is built. They use software to determine if the plan will meet ENERGY STAR standards.
During construction of the home, Energy Sense checks for appropriate levels of insulation and air sealing around all of the pipes.
