Rowlands Pine and Oak Centre is a family run business established in 1995 by Doug Smith, which has grown to be one of the largest furniture shops in the area, with over 40 different suppliers.
In 1979 Doug and his father Ernie, a French polisher, started a business selling antique furniture at Staines Antiques. The shop has been trading over 26 years and has a good and varied selection of old and antique, furniture, also a large amount of bric a brac etc. It also has a repair and restoration workshop. In 1995 with the demand for pine furniture growing Doug opened a second shop Rowlands Pine Centre, in Ashford. Originally Rowlands had only 1 showroom and a small storage area. Over the years Rowlands has expanded to 9 Showrooms which contain a huge selection of pine and oak furniture. There is also a very varied selection of small items including Lamps, Mirrors, Prints, Disney Characters, Clocks and much, much more. To the rear of the building there is a large warehouse which holds a considerable amount of stock for immediate delivery or collection. We also have a workshop where we can meet customers requirements for special colours and finishes.
We have our own transport and drivers who take pride in delivering our furniture to you. We offer good old- fashioned service with a smile, and are well known in the area after 26 years.
