Description
My name is Réka, and I maintain this site as a hobby and a pastime. The endeavor was born out of frustration. In a fit of graduate malcontent, I delved into the (I must say) rather incestuous tangle of British comedy, beginning with Blackadder. Playing two degrees of separation on the Internet Movie Database with middle-aged thespians was, after all, much more entertaining than actually doing work in graduate school. I am a PhD student of biological psychology at Cornell University, and contrary to appearances, I have a life outside of maintaining websites - really. And you can read all about it on my personal website...
In said outside life, I have nothing whatsoever to do with the entertainment industry. I am not an aspiring actress, comedienne, or scriptwriter. Not even a wannabe TV executive... I do hope to be what John Irving has called a discerning reader -- or, in this case, watcher and listener. I have been a software engineer, a teacher, a sex educator, a director of a commodities firm, and most recently, a budding scientist. I may yet be other things.
