In 1999, with tremendous determination and an unwavering sense of style & flair, Rena M. opened Romantic Adventures on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Rena comments, “It was something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve had some businesses in the past. My first was a souvenir shop called Happyness Boutique where I sold Lake Tahoe mementos mixed with a couple of pieces of lingerie and a vibrator or two. It was great fun.
“Then I opened a convenience store called Bottoms Up. You could run in and choose some sunscreen, snacks, beer & wine, a cute teddy, a vibrator, and some lube. It was an awesome idea and people loved it.
After running Happyness Boutique and Bottoms Up, it was a natural progression for Rena to open her own lingerie shop. And thus, Romantic Adventures was born.
