- Our Beginnings
- The Riverwalk Development was begun in 1995 when the City of Auburn approved the operation of a rock crusher on the property for the removal of over 200,000 yards of gravel from the proposed housing area. This property had been an old mining site about 25 years previously. It was then known as the Meade Gravel Pit. Also located there was an asphalt batch plant operated on the southwest corner of the property, but it had ceased operations 10 years prior to the start of this project.
