I started work on Right Ascension in June of 1998 while living at home in Hollywood, FL. Though I had just graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a major in Philosophy in May, and thus had recently written more papers than any one human being should be forced to produce in a lifetime, for some unknown reason I decided, "Hey, I'll write a 300-page novel." So here I am.

Currently, I've been balancing the demands of my "day job," as an attorney for a large corporate law firm in Los Angeles, with writing some short stories and trying to find the time to embark on writing a third novel, Face Value. That novel, while still science-fiction, would not be a sequel to Right Ascension or Declination, but would explore a near-future world where mankind has harnessed the awesome powers of genetics to re-shape society, for better... or worse.
