Richard obtained his Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance in 1980 from the University of Saskatchewan and his Bachelor of Laws in 1981. He was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1982. He is a partner at Cuelenaere Kendall Katzman & Watson.
Richard has represented large and small clients, including chartered banks, trust companies, finance companies, major national shopping centre owners small businesses and individuals.
When not working or spending time with his Wife and Son, Richard enjoys the piano, soprano cornet, painting, photography, physical fitness, computer technology, woodworking and the outdoors.
