Richie Robinson got his first guitar at the age of eight, as a gift from a friend. It only had two strings on it, but he made the most of it, as he has done ever since. By the age of fourteen, he had spent almost two years living on the street; performing, writing songs, studying music, and learning tricks of the trade from some of the country's top professional buskers.
This helped to shape his attitude towards the entertainment and music business, and would later turn him into one of the most employed guitarists in the country....
A seasoned player of sensitivity and substance, Richie has paid his dues with thousands of shows, spending as much as 40 hours a week on stage on a regular basis. His live presence and passion for the guitar continues to bring joy to many, many enthused fans around Australia and abroad.
