This is the only garden festival in New Zealand where all the gardens have been independently assessed by the New Zealand Garden Trust for their design, plant selection, and maintenance.
Taranaki has some of the country’s finest gardens and also the largest number of gardens of national significance in New Zealand. The Festival showcases the diverse range of gardens throughout Taranaki from coastal and sub-tropical to alpine. The unique natural environment of the area produces some of the most outstanding gardens, parks and open spaces in New Zealand.
All our Festival gardeners will be available to welcome you into their inspirational gardens. You will share in their wealth of knowledge and experience and benefit from their infectious passion for gardening.
