ResidentAssistant.com was started in December of 1998. The purpose of the website is to provide an additional resource to augment the resources RAs have available to them at their institutions. ResidentAssistant.com also serves as a tool to connect RAs everywhere, allowing them to share ideas, information and advice. ResLifePro.com (formerly ResidenceHallDirector.com) was added to the site to provide more resources to Residence Life Professionals.
