Republic Collection Services

These services were equally divided among the three main market segments: services provided for industrial customers, services for commercial customers and collection services for residential and municipal clients.
The collection operations are executed by subsidiaries or company franchises after closing contracts with the municipalities resulting from competitive bids. The contracts and franchises are usually set over a period of one to five years and the collection fees may vary according to factors like costs of disposal, type of services and other market factors. A Republic Services subsidiary in Texas processes yard waste and then packages it to be sold under the form of different landscaping products.
