Welcome to the unique heritage home named for St. John's first mayor, Mr. George Shea ( 1902-1906 ), and the only home in this area to survive the catastrophic devastation of the Great Fire of 1892.
This downtown home is exquisite in its architectural detail and elegant in its charm and atmosphere. Wide mouldings and trim, ornate ceiling scrolls and marble fireplaces are some of the distinctive nineteenth century features which accentuate this home.
