Title
The Displaced Ozarkian
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Born in Southern California, my family moved to Missouri when I was six. I grew up in rural Southwest Missouri, and ultimately went to school at the University of Missouri - Rolla for a long, long time. I love the Ozarks , but found myself strangely unemployable after going to school for so long. Ironically, I found myself in Northern California. Couldn't stand the city life, so moved to the Santa Cruz Mountains. I'm in my mid-thirties, and have been divorced twice (what's up with that? I don't even believe in divorce). I did get something wonderful from my last marriage: a little girl who spends most of her time with me! After talking with a friend, I decided this would be a good way to vent/detail life as a rural-Ozarkian who's been transplanted into the fast-paced world of the Silicon Valley. And no, I don't think anyone in my family was a Baldknobber . Ok, there may have been a Yocham involved, but there is no record.
