I grew up in Lafayette Colorado, and now reside in Longmont. I'm not native to Colorado but my family moved here when I was very young and this is the only home I know. I have three beatiful children and wonderful wife and we love being part of Longmont's community.
I have a diverse career background which gives me an advantage in the real estate world. Over the course of 10 years I learned the construction trades by getting my hands dirty. I worked for a custom home builder bangin' nails and framin' houses. I worked as an electricians apprentice, and I also spent some time as a plumbing apprentice. I learned very quickly to appreciate the work involved in building a home. The most important thing I learned as a plumbing apprentice was never eat a sandwich after a sewer job!
Because of my experience in the trades, I have a keen eye for quality and I know construction well. I've done a substantial amount of hands on work and have personally built, bought, remodeled, and resold houses. In addition to construction OJT, I hold a degree in Electronics Engineering. I spent 8 years in technology, troubleshooting computer controlled machines and then telecommunication switching equipment. That experience has given me outstanding troubleshooting ability that I can apply to any scenario.
